Voice: Kelly Mackenzie Thurley
Originally from the United States, Kelly MacKenzie-Thurley is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Since completing her studies, Kelly has sung in operas, concerts and recitals throughout the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria and Germany.
Her operatic roles include Despina in Cosi fan tutte, Gretel in Hänsel & Gretel, Thérèse/Tirésias in Les Mamelles de Tirésias, Suor Genovieva in Suor Angelica and the Princess in The Student Prince. Kelly has given recitals in England, Italy and Australia and has also toured Germany as the vocal soloist in a Baroque chamber ensemble.
Kelly has performed at the Sydney Opera House in productions of The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro and Iolanthe. She was a co-creator of the cabaret production Electric Cowgirls-Good Girls Go Country that was a feature of the Tamworth Country Music Festival and headlined the prestigious Australia Day Concert in Sydney. She was also the featured soloist in Scotland The Brave at the Brisbane Concert Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
After moving to London, Kelly was invited to perform in the world premiere of the new Stuart Greenbaum opera, Nelson and formed the Midnight Company corporate ensemble, developing their new productions After Midnight and An Office Affair. Kelly also had the new cabaret musical Dial M For Martini written especially for her, which debuted at the Warehouse Theatre.
As a voice teacher Kelly has had highly successful private studios in London, Sydney and Cincinnati and she is currently on the voice faculty at Northern Kentucky University. As a vocal coach she has specialized in working with close harmony groups and recording studio consultations. Kelly has been a highly sought after conductor, choral clinician and adjudicator, having worked with church choirs, vocal ensembles and show choirs all over the world.

My name is Katie Schmitt. I am a private voice teacher in the Fairfield/ Hamilton area. I received my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Otterbein University in 2013, where I studied under Dr. Karen Eckenroth. I have been teaching voice lessons for three years to students ages 11-19. I have a studio of 30 students, many of whom have received awards and accolades over the past three years. My students also have received, and continue to receive solo opportunities in show choirs and concert choirs, and principle roles in school and community productions. Lessons are given on a weekly basis, and may be either 30 minutes or 60 minutes long. For a 30 minute lesson the charge is $20, and for a 60 minute lesson the charge is $35. Voice: Angelina Giuliano
Angelina is a 2014 Music Performance graduate of Northern Kentucky University and a 2010 graduate of Ross High School. During her time at Ross, she was a member ofthe Surround Sound Mixed Choir and Rhythm and Motion Show Choir, a group from which she won numerous awards for outstanding performer and soloist. She is also the 2010 winner of Ross High School’sFine Art Scholarship.
After high school, she attended Northern Kentucky University where she studied in the studios of Esther Nam, Errik Hood and Dr. Grant Knox. She performed with the university's award winning chamber choir, which toured Europe and performed in the 2012 Cincinnati World Choir Games.
Angelina’s operatic roles include; Miss Todd from Menotti's Old Maid and the Thief and La Zia Principessa in Puccini's Sour Angelica. A semi-finalist four years running, Angelina represented Northern Kentucky University in the Kentucky N.A.T.S vocal competition.
In addition to teaching voice at Ross, Angelina is the director of Color Guard for Ross High School and Ross Middle School. She also holds a studio at the West Chester Academy of Music and Dance, where she teaches private lessons and Musical Theater classes.
Angelina brings to Ross High School nine years of vocal training, ten years of formal dance training, seven years of both participation and leadership in show choir and color guard, and musical training on trumpet and piano. She is thrilled to share the gift of music with you all!
